Bonus PS Plus Premium Game Is Out Now for PS5
A PS5 version of Metro Redux has quietly joined the PlayStation Plus Premium library. The remastered collection, which bundles enhanced versions of both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light, has been added to the subscription service without official announcement from either Sony or publisher Deep Silver. The PS4 version was already available to PS Plus Premium subscribers, but the listing has now been updated to include the new PS5 edition.
This appears to be a bonus addition arriving ahead of the scheduled monthly PS Plus Premium game releases expected in the coming weeks. The lack of formal announcement from Sony or Deep Silver suggests the addition may have gone largely unnoticed by the broader community. Such quiet additions are typical of how subscription services occasionally expand their catalogs, allowing subscribers to discover new content organically.
Metro Redux represents a comprehensive remaster of the post-apocalyptic shooter franchise, modernizing both games with improved graphics and performance optimized for current-generation hardware. The inclusion on PS Plus Premium makes the collection more accessible to PlayStation 5 owners as part of their subscription benefits.
