Dragon’s Dogma 2 gets a timed collaboration with beloved anime and manga series Delicious in Dungeon, and it’s out right now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox

Capcom has launched a timed collaboration between Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen and Delicious in Dungeon (Dungeon Meshi), the acclaimed fantasy anime and manga series. The crossover is now available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.

The collaboration introduces two official Pawns—NPC party members that assist players throughout the game—based on Laios and Marcille, the protagonists of Delicious in Dungeon. These Pawns integrate the characters directly into the player’s adventure, allowing fans of the anime to experience these beloved characters within Dragon’s Dogma 2’s fantasy world.

Delicious in Dungeon follows a group of adventurers in a fantasy realm who lose a battle with a dragon that consumes one of their party members. Their subsequent quest to revive the fallen companion drives the narrative, with the group learning to cook and prepare monsters they encounter in dungeons. The anime adaptation, produced by animation studio Trigger, debuted in 2024 and has garnered significant acclaim.

The crossover is notable given the thematic overlap between both properties. While Dragon’s Dogma 2 is an action RPG centered on epic fantasy adventures, it similarly embraces quieter, character-driven moments between encounters. Both franchises celebrate the complexity of dungeon exploration and survival, making them natural companions for collaboration.

As with many timed collaborations in live-service games, players should note that this crossover event has a limited availability window.
