Phantom Blade Zero November 4 Update & Patch Notes—New Features, Performance Fixes & More
Phantom Blade Zero has received its first major update since launch, with version 1.0302256 now available on PS5 and PC. The patch arrives as the action game continues its commercial momentum, having sold over 4 million copies in its first 72 hours and peaking at 830,000 concurrent players.
The update introduces several quality-of-life improvements across audio and controls. New audio settings options include “Hit Sound Intensity” and “Hit Impact Sound Intensity” for customized feedback, while PC players gain the ability to remap the “Interact/Talk” function. Beyond customization, the update addresses performance optimization and implements combat adjustments.
Notably, the patch includes a targeted balance adjustment to Hua, Deadly Bethrothed, an optional boss encountered early in the game within the Weeping Creek Valley region. The boss’s grab attacks have been made less frequent, reducing the difficulty spike some players faced during this encounter. The update also contains general bug fixes and tweaks intended to improve the overall gameplay experience across both platforms.
