Apple TV’s Best Sci-Fi Show Begins Filming for Season 2, but the Wait Will Be Long
Apple TV’s sci-fi series Pluribus, created by Vince Gilligan (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul), has begun production on its second season. Filming started on October 31 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, following a pre-production phase reported in early October. The show stars Rhea Seehorn, who played Kim Wexler in Better Call Saul, in the lead role of Carol Sturka. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, the series follows Sturka, an author in Albuquerque who is one of only 13 people worldwide immune to an extraterrestrial virus that has transformed humanity. While production is now underway, the wait for new episodes is expected to be substantial, as typical production and post-production timelines for prestige television series extend over many months.
