This Handheld Gaming Hub Has A Lot More Going On Than You’d Expect
Chizha has unveiled the Mount Ling 2 Pro, a portable gaming hub designed for PC handheld gaming devices. The device functions as a dock that integrates multiple features into a single unit, helping reduce cable clutter while adding a cyberpunk aesthetic to gaming setups.
The Mount Ling 2 Pro features a built-in video capture card capable of recording gameplay at up to 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. It also includes a bottom-mounted NVMe solid-state drive slot that supports drives up to 4TB, allowing users to store recorded footage directly on the device. This integration of capture and storage functionality essentially consolidates what would typically require multiple separate devices.
According to GameSpot’s hands-on experience, the Mount Ling 2 Pro performs well as a dock for PC handhelds like the Steam Deck and ASUS ROG Ally X. However, GameSpot noted that the device may not be the ideal choice for users specifically looking to capture Nintendo Switch 2 gameplay.
The device is currently available on Kickstarter, positioning it as a crowdfunded product for gamers seeking streamlined capture solutions for their handheld gaming setups.
